ENJOY FATHERS’ Day fun for
the whole family with three dif-
ferent events at Waterfront Park,
on Sunday, June 16.

The B.C. Kite Flyer’s Associa-
tion is hosting and demonstrating
a free ‘‘Kite-Making Workshop”

from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participa-
tion is limited to the first 100
people.

A demonstration of seven dif-
ferent martial arts will also take
place, with the Gima-Ha Fhoto-
Ryu Karate starting the

demonstration at 11] a.m.

The martial arts demonstration
organizer, Dean Milner, says ‘‘We
have demonstrations that are sure
to delight everyone at any age. We
have the supple and gentle mov-
ements of Tai Chi Chuan as well
as the board breaking styles of
Tae Kwon Do and Karate.”

Demonstrations will be pres-
ented by the instructors and stu-
dents of the North Vancouver
Recreation Commission and the
North Shore Neighbourhood

House programs until 3 p.m.

The Vancouver Mopar Car
Club will have some of Chrysler's
finest on display 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

are growing at the rate of 15%

fragrance staternent but moisturize
the skin while cleansing it. Talc is

Cologne, a light form of
fragrance, is generally splashed on
after showering and should be us-
ed with a corresponding
deodorant. Aftershave is a
hydro-alcohclic solution combined
with perfume and other such
agents to cool and soothe the skin
after shaving.

The major men’s toiletry com-
panies make a full family of
fragrance’ products. Remember
that once you decide on your-
fragrance gift, make sure al! the
items are in the same scent.

When a man wears one cologne
and a different after-shave, he has
created a fragrance war on his
body. That doesn’t make a lot of
scents.
