Park & Tilford Gardens, a restored North Vancouver masterpiece.
Built over 20 years ago, the gardens grew quickly to become a
famous landmark and a favourite location for weddings and
community events. Each year around Christmas they were beauti-
fully illuminated in celebtation of the season.

But in 1984 the gardens closed. Qvergrown and neglected they
fell on dark ‘times.

Now, let there be light! On Sunday, December 4th, we're
reviving the tradition of the Christmas illumination. At 5:00 pm
Vancouver's Garden Oasis will glow again... and you're invited.

A seasonal high note (Noon until 5:00 pm) Join our
celebration and delight in a variety of joyful Christmas music.
Kids will love the talented tricks of the balloon sculptor and
the juggler. And, in keeping with the season, the garden's decked
out with your favourite Christmas scene. :

A Shoppers’ Oasis. You'll also find Park & Tilford Centre is
so convenient ycu may never want to leave. When all stores
‘and amenities are open you'll have everything from a major
supermarket to dry-cleaners, nifty gifts to theatres and home

How to get there FROM LION’S GATE BRIDGE: Right onto
Marine Drive East - turns into E. 3rd Street - turns into Cotton
Road. Turn left on Brooksbank Avenue.

FROM THE 2ND NARROWS BRIDGE: Head north across the
bridge. Take the 2nd exit (Main Street - North Vancouver).
Continue westward on Main Street - turns inte Cotton Road.
Turn right onto Brooksbank Avenue.

Centre hours: (Christmas Hours) Mon - Sat: 9:30 am -
9:00 pm, Sun: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Garden Hours: 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. 7 days a week until Jan. 6th.
