Mian appears for
stolen cards

A 25-YEAR-OLD North Vancouver man appeared Wednesday in
North Vancouver provincial court to face four criminal charges
stemming from an alleged use of stolen credit cards.

Kevin Charles Crapgs was originally charged with two counts of
using stolen credit cards in connection with Feb. 18 incidents in
which a stolen Mastercard and a stolen North Shore Credit Union
CUE card were used.

Craggs also faces one count of possession of stolen property and
personation in conncction with a seizure of another male’s driver's
licence, birth certificate and social insurance card.

Appearing before Judge J.B. Paradis, Craggs was remanded to
March 4 to fix a date for trial on the charges.

Man run
over by car

A VANCOUVER man is dead after he slipped and fell behind acar
driven by his brother Thursday, at 8 p.m.

George Barker, 75, was guiding his brother’s car down a steep
driveway in the 4400-block of Starlight Way, when he slipped und
fell. The car. backed over him and he was crushed under the pas-

4 senger-side wheels of the car. The two had just arrived for an even-
tng visit.

A 27-YEAR-OLD North Vancouver man was sentenced Feb. 15 in
West Vancouver provincial court to 20 days in jail after he pleaded
_ guilty to driving while prohibited.

[°° Michael Bourton was originally charged in connection with 2
- Jan. 12 incident.

; In addition to the jail sentence, Bourton was fined $300 and
prohibited from driving for o further six months,

Tsutomu Homma is scheduled to appear in West Vancouver pro-
vincial court April 18 to face charges on two counts of sexual
assault for offences alleged to have occurred -in West. Vancouver
between September 1985 and June 1986 and September 1986 and
June 1987,

: A-Feb. 11 Vancouver county court appearance by Homma to
- face 13 sexual assault-reiated charges was adjourned to April 21.

_: The 13 charges'stem from an alleged series of incidents involving
: fa former male student during the period between March 1981 and
