Local youths perform in Boheme

Boheme, Lang, 14, gets to run
around the stage, stealing and

For Lang, singing in Italian
means knowing the words, but not
understanding what they mean.
“Just about every letter is pro-
nounced,’’ said Lung, who hopes
to pursuc a medical sciences career
after finishing at Crofton House
school.

La Boheme opens the Vancouver
Opera 1987-88 season Oct. 24, and
continues Oct. 27, 29 and 31 at the
Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Perfor-
mance time is 8 p.m.
