Chinese brush painter and poet,
Shan Bai Qin will be a visiting
guest artist/teacher at the Emily
Carr College of Art and Design in
July.

His intensive three-week course
at Emily Carr will reinforce the
basic rules and the uniqueness of
Chinese painting while exploring
contemporary methods and sub-
jects.

THE. CLARE Cunningham Dance
Foundation is. presenting six weeks
of dance training and performance
this summer. ;
The first session begins June 30
‘ and runs to July 18.
The second session goes from
July 21 to August 8.
Mornings will be devoted to
beginner level while afternoons will
be at the intermediate/advanced
