also interested in reading, in
another article, Dr.

McMahon's statement that
“Knowledge and medical im-

antibiotics have helped us
bring birth from a process
fraught with risk to a healthy
time for mother and child.”
If this is the ‘case, why are
doctors applying abor-
tions on the grounds)that the
mother’s health is at risk and
why does the therapeutic
