reception, Charles and Diana
retired to their suite in the
closely-guarded Pan Pacific
Hotel.

Outside, many. royal-
watchers were still waiting,
hoping for a becter view of

Cynthia Rogers from
Courtenay said after spend-
ing two hours of waiting, she
only saw the top of the
