“A 22-YEAR-OLD North
Vancouver man was recently jailed
three months in connection with at
charge of possessing stolen com-
puter equipment valued at more
than $1,000.

Michiel Thomas Walker plead-
ed guilty to oa charge stemming
from a Sept. 18 incident in North
: Vancouver Cily.

Walker also received two years’
probation.

A probation tera order. states
that Walker is not to have contact

with a co-uceused, Richard Reid
Warner, during the first year of his
probation, |

Warner, 24, has been ordered to
‘stand trial in connection with
charges stermming from the Sept.
18 incident.

According. to- the — North
Vancouver RCMP, the charges
were: laid after. police recovered
stolen computer components from
acresidence in the 800-block of
West 19th Street.
