EMERALD PARK Lodge
has gone to the well for the
last time.

At least that’s what
Alderman Elko Kroon
hoped as he recommended
North Vancouver’ City
council approve- another
request for money from the
developers of the historic
building on East 2nd Street.

“Hopefully this is the final
request for funds,” Kroon
told council Monday as he
recommended another
$6,480 be granted Delo’s
Restaurant for im-
provements that will turn the
building into a restaurant.

The Lodge, one of the
architectural landmarks of
the City, is already expected

Concession talks delayed

tentious concession stand at
Dundarave was delayed at
Monday's West Vancouver
council meeting because the
public was possibly unaware
