ARGYLE SECONDARY school students, in conjunction with
the Red Cross, recently collected $538 in donations to send
to the needy in the former Yugoslavia. Money was raised a
number of ways, including a bake sale, coin drive and a rib-
bon drive (much like the traditional poppy drive for
Remembrance Day). To date, the efforts of Argyle students
have benefited 11 families around the world. The students
hope other schools will follow their lead. .
