Kerry probe B.C. FERRY Corp. (BCFC) officials met Friday to con- duct an internal investigation at Horseshoe Bay in the wake of a ferry collision Thursday night. A ferry struck a power boat as the ferry departed Soug Cove on Bowen Istand. BCFC spokesman Ed MeKenzie said the Queen of Capilano had just deparied from Snug Cove at 9:10 p.m. on its way to Horseshoe Bay when it struck 2 40-foot power hoat docked nearby. There were no injuries as a result of the accident. McKenzie said the findings of the internal investigation will be made public. AirCare strike THE B.C. Government Employees Union (BCGEU) was expected to announce Friday that all unionized AirCure workers would commence strike action Saturday, untess there was a breakthrough in negotiations. Meanwhile, John Nixon of Ebco-Hamilton Partners, the operators of AirCare stations, said 204 of the 320 employees were scheduled to be laid off Friday morning. The unton Is secking a first contract.
