The rear of the Convertible is distinguished by a short rear deck and wrap-araound taillamps. And with its power- Operated top up, the LeBaron Convertible retains the sleek look of a coupe. The LeBaron Convert- ible’s completely restyled in- terior features new-style seats, a redesigned instru- ment panel with fingertip contro] switches and a new centre-mounted handbrake. A driver's side air bag is optionally available for the first time and is contained in the centre of the steering wheel. Other new features include standard daytime running lights, new luxury-type steer- ing wheel, standard rear outboard shoulder belts, op- tional steering wheel- mounted electronic speed contro}, new optional automatic power door locks, standard high-performance airfoil wiper system and a redesigned steering column multi-function control with pulse/ wipe feature. A new security alarm system is op- tionally available. Four-wheel disc brakes and power front door win- dows are standard on all 1990 Chrysler LeBaron Convertibles.
