field hockey action this sea-
son.

The West Vancouver private
school’s senior team beat perennial
provincial powerhouse KLO
Secondary 2-1 in the B.C. double-A
championships t claim provincial
bragging rights. Earlier in the year the
Cavaliers won the prestigious
Bridgeman Cup in Victoria (another

School Association tourney and a
Seven-A-Side tournament.

At the B.C. Champienships,
Collingwood outscored their compe-
tition 25-2, and during their undefeat-

season, the Cavs scored 70
goals while shucting out all 10 teams
they faced. And — considering
Collngwood's junior team won the
North Shore league tide (with a 3-2
overtime win over Argyle) senior
coach Keith Chiquen could very well
become quite familiar with the num-
ber one provincial ranking during the
