Bill wil! be sadly missed by his wife Phyllis, sister Phyllis Sutherland, and nieces Phyllis, Paddy and Nora. He was born in Olds, Alberta, moved ta the North Shore in 1920, and lived in North Vancouver most of his life, priot to moving to a country home in Langley in 1961. Bill was an en- thusiastic sportsman. He played English tugby with the very successful North Shore All Blacks from 2932 to 1939 and after the war coached the same club from 1945 to 1953. Bill was an ex- cellent golfer, a past member and Cap- tain at the Capilano Golf and Country Club. A memerciat service was held at St. John's Anglican Church in North Van- couver on October 18, 1994, Reverend Ray Waller officiating. Bill's ashes will be interred in the family plot in North Vancouver Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if you wish, please send donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Bill.
