Pearson, drifting into the inertia that results from too much free time, tracked down ex-Doug Kershcw, ex- Heuts band member, Pat Hewitt. The two decided it was time to toss off the leaden chains of serious rock, put on some blue jeans with cuffs, and whip out some freewheeling country music. Try as they might, however, country came out a twanging cross between Tom etty, Graham Parker, and Hank Williams. The band has since released the five- song EP, “Rough Town”, on Exploding Records and moved beyond the well-worn Seattle club circuit.
