Win- nipeg was particularly active with prices increasing in the $3,000 range. Alberta also was more promising — in particular,. . Caigary. There, an- active market has produced stable - prices with some increases in prime. neighbourhoods. On the other hand, Edmonton continued to show prices that were stable to slightly lower. In Vancouver and the lower Mainland, price trends were similar to those in Ed- monton — stable to weaker in some areas. . “Overall”, Erickson said, ‘tmarkets have certainly picked up and price increases in the two to four per cent range over the past. four months is a strong. indication that we can expect price in- creases of five to seven per - cent over the full year”.
