The swimmers represented sixteen North Vancouver elementary schools and they vied for school and individual points at the meet sponsored by the North Van Cruisers Swim Club. ‘First place was taken by Carisbrooke School with 186 points, followed by Highlands with 132 and St. Edmunds with ol. Maplewood, Fromme and Braemar schools placed fourth, fifth and = sixth respectively. Swimmers competed in grade levels 3 to 7, and were divided into two groups per grade, novice and club.
