are the official languages of
Canada, except in Quebec
where the only language is
French. French in Quebec is
considered superior to Eng-
lish. There has been a strong
push of the French language
mainly because. of govern-
ment propaganda. »

Let us consider the recent.
history of Ottdwa. ‘At one
time Ottawa, was’ 90%’
English speaking; now it is
90% French speaking. This
change took place in just a
few short years.’ English.
speaking people found. they '
could not get jobs unless they -
could speak fluent French
and as a result they were
forced to move. The few.
English Canadians that were
left became frightened that
their children would not get a a
job when they grew up, so
they had their children
taught in French schools,
learning only French.

Why should we bring | in
