iV Rec Centre plans activities for summer WEST VANCOUVER Recreation Centre has lined up a summer full of activities to help celebrate the municipalitity's 75th anniversary. Summer programs for children aged three to 14 years begin July 6, operating on a weekly schedule through until August 14. The Navy League Cadets is a volunteer organization that teaches boys and girls, aged 10 to 13 years, about the navy. There are openings for positions in teaching and ad- ministration. All classes are of a naval background. Men and women interested should be 18 years of age or older. A prior navy or sea cadet background is an asset but not necessary.
