WE’RE backing the North Shore’s favourites.

And so are you.

In this third annual Readers’ Choice salute to local emterprise, the North
Shore News has compiled input from its readers on what they believe is the
best in a host of business and service categories on the North Shore.

Votes were tabulated from the thousands of ballots distributed throughout
the North Shore by the News and collected in ballot boxes at a host of focal
businesses.

Categories ranged fom Favourite Bagel Shop and Faveurite Business Lunch to
Favourite Real Estate Company and Favourite Place tor a First Date.

Voter response to the poll conunues to grow cach year.

Winners in the 56 categories received notification of their ringing public

Renshaw endorsement with similar enthusiasm.

The whole exercise continues to be gratifying for all involved.

Dare we call it a win-win-win proposition?

We do.

Readers got 3 chance to vent their views on local businesses and express their
appreciation for jobs well done; local businesses, meanwhile, got a chance to
teap some well-deserved endorsement from their clientele and the North Shore
public.

The cest of us get to sing some of the praises of life on the North Shore, which
are multifold.

And the sound you hear is that of a community celebrating itself — an exercise
in which it indulges tar too rarely.

In keeping with the spirit of that celebration, the North Shore News adds its applause
to that of the community in this special Readers’ Choice feature.

One aspect of the Readers’ Choice Awards competition that gets everybudy excited is the Our other Grand — although BIG might be a better word — Prize was donated by CGM
opportunity for a lucky voter to win the Grand Prize, This year, we were doubly fortunate in Electronics in the form of a Sony WEGA 32” flat sercen TV. We'd like to thank CGM and
