ample salads are a good place
to start.

And for a more substantial
meal choose trom such
entrees (89 to $)2) as
Eggplant Parmigiana, Pasta
Primavera, Chicken Primavera,
Marinated Chicken, Chicken
Caesar Salad, Manicotti,
Artichoke Hearts.

They come with a choice
of soup or salad. A sampled
Tomato and Penne soup pro-
vided a thick opener for a
platter of Inn Cogneato Spicy
Potatoes. The soup was filled
with pasta, garbanzo beans
and a viscous tomato stock
that was a little too viscous for
my tastes.

But those Spicy Potatoes
are an inspired inn Cogneato
original. Take a mess of grilled
Russet potatocs. Stir-fry them
with garlic, onions, red and
green bell peppers, chopped
mushrooms, some olive oil
and a liberal sprinkling of
cayenne pepper.

Top with cheddar, moz-
zarella and parmesan cheeses,
bake the whole works in the
Inn Cogneato ovens and you
have one spicy rib-sticking
entree.

chilled white wine. Something
