THE MS Society is warning
North Shore residents that
some people are fraudulently
canvassing for money on
behalf of the Multiple Sclerosis
Society of Canada.

The MS Sociery campaigns
door to door in May. It does
not campaign door to door for
finds at this time of the year.

regarding their validity call the

Shot man still in coma

A North Vancouver man who was
shot in the head on Nov. 30 in a
gang-style shooting remains in a
coma on life support equipment.

Fivc days after Mani Rezaci, 20, was shot in
Vancouver, he was charged with robbery, kid-
napping, unlawful confinement and extortion.

Rezaci was charged in connection with an
alleged Oct. 21 kidnapping of an 18-year-old

man,

(Bhupinder) johal, 25, was charged with extor-

tion.

Two other men, Roman Mann, 19, and

Davinder Singh Jatey, 18, were each charged
with kidnapping and unlawful confinement.

A Vancouver City Police spokesman said
Mann, Jatey and Johal were released from cus-
tody afier court appearances in Vancouver
provincial court relating to the charges.

Source, say the alleged kidnapping and
extortion stems from feuding among Lower
Mainland crug dealers.
