@ 9-1-1 is the emergency number
if you require the police, fire
department, or an ambulance in
the Greater Vancouver area;

use your complete address, in-
cluding apartment number, name
of subdivision ar complex, closest
cross street, and any identifying
landmarks that may aia the
responding agency.

Also, be able to give as much
information about the emergency
as possible, and do not hang up
until the dispatcher tells you to.

@ After calling the emergency

service, have someone go outside
to direct the responding vehicles
to the proper location.

@ Ensure address numbers are
