first 34% months of the seven
month program in a pro-
vince in Canada with young
people from the country of
their destination. They ex-
change information about
culture, government and life
in their countries while they
learn each other’s languages.
Robinson will learn Urdu,
and Godt will learn Bhasa
indonesian.

For the final 34% months,
starting in December, par-
ucipants live in their host
countries and work in cither
agriculture, soctal services,

education, health services or
a small business. Godt is not
sure yet what area she will

work in, but Robinson says
she will be working in social
services, probably in
hospitals and homes for the
elderly and the handicapped.

Robinson says that she is
reading up on Canada, par-
ticularly the government,
foreign pohcy, and native
Indians, so she will have in-
formation to share with the
Pakistan: youths.
