LIONS GATE Hospital
Director Anne Waghorn has
been elected to a one-year
term as Secretary-Treasurer
of the Lower Mainland Area
and District Council of the
B.C. Health Association and
Health Labor Relations
Association.

The position is a continua-
tion of a long-time commit.
meat on the part of Waghom
and her family to maintain-
ing a high standard of health
care in the North Shore
community.

tradition of service estabhsh-
ed by her mother and father
Mr. and Mrs. John Cates.
Mrs. Cates was a member of
both the hospital Auxiliary
and the Board of Directors in
the 1970s. Mr. Cates served
several years on the Board in-
cluding a term as Chairman
in 1964-65
