Page S6, February 28, 1979 - -North Shore News ‘ Deep Cove stages two one-acters | Deep Cove Stage will present two one-act plays in the Community Hall, Panorama Drive, Deep Cove, at 8 p.m. on March 2, 3, Jand 10. The first is- - entitled “The Incian Wants the Bronx” by Israel Horowitz, set.in a section in New York Eity. The three characters are portrayed .by Jon Pallone, John . Ratal and Gerry McKay. The piece is directed by Don MacLean. jon Pallone has appeared in »ver 200 shows, including films and television. He has just completed a film with Ari Carney here in Van- couver. John Ratal and Gerry MacKay have both acted on’ the North Shore’ with Genesis Players. Don MacLean, a graduate in theatre from the University of Calgary, has directed all round the Lower Mainland and has appeared in films and on television. Myrna Lamb’s play, “But what have you done for me lately?” springs from the Kafka-like nightmarish discovery by a. prominent politician, well known for his advocacy of anti-abortion legislation, of his. own pregnancy. Featured in the play are: Pat Garland, Harold Brockman, Helen Forrest and Graham Eagle. Direction. is by Dudley Cox, who has been actively in- volved in professional theatre in Newfoundland until recently, when he came to British Columbia.
