final step in the coast-to-coast

introduction of the exciting

Valley resort near Vernon,
about 150 miles. east of
Vancouver.
 Albertsson says there are
five Alpine Slide installations
in Canada —- three in Ontario’
and Quebec plus two in
western) Canada —- and
additional sites are under
discussion. “Paskapoo, out-
side Calgary, brought the
Alpine Slide to western
Canada when it opened last
spring and now Tillicum
Valley has helped us make
Alpine Sliding a reality across
Canada.”

knees enables the rider to
control his or her speed.

The side-by-side tracks are
custom-engineered and ter-
rain-tailored for each loca-
tion. “No two Slide locations
are alike.” according to
Albertsson, who says there
also are 22 Alpine Slide
installations operating in. the
U.S. and another 10 in
Europe.
