Drugs found in car A 1994 Mercedes was seized by police after a drug bust on Tuesday in the Braemar area. North Vancouver RCMP purol officers stopped the Drugs appeared to’ be being sold out of the car, said North Vancouver RCMP Const. Heidi Hoffman. Police declined to say exactly how much cocaine, marijuana and methamphet- amine was found in the car. Local Mounties would only say a “substantial amount” of each drug was found. Police also found several hundred dollars in the car, and celjular phones and pagers were seized. Three men, two from North: Vancouver and one Vancouver resident, are fac- ing drug charges. One eof the men has had previous run-ins with police. The investigation subse- quently involved the arrest of more people in North Vancouver and West Vancouver. Police say the investiga- tion has revealed information about cocaine distribution and a trafficking network in North and West Vancouver.
