How did you get into this line of
work?: ‘TT used toa be « client. |
used to use Robert Half to do my
recruiting when { was in the car
business and that’s how | heard
about it. I heard about the com-
pany because | couldn’t find an
office manager when 1 was work-
ing at Dave Buck Ford. All of a
sudden my phone rang and it was
someone asking about the job. I
asked him how he heard ubout the
job and he said he saw my name
on the sign. | asked him what sign
and he said the sign before you
enter Stanley Park.

“We used to have a really big
sign on the corner of Chilco and
Georgia and | guess Dave thought
he’d give me a hand and had
someone go down there and write:
‘Office manager required’ and put
my name and phone number on
it. One of the people that called
was my (now) former partner at
Robert Half who said he didn't
want the job but that he could
help me out. So that’s how |

if this is truc, but many many
years ago | believe he was unem-
