WEST VANCOUVER § architect David Weiser has been awarded a special certificate of recognition by the Architectural Institute of B.C. (AIBC). The award was presented at the AIBC’s annual general meeting in Victozia. AIBC president Gerry Rolfsen, in making the presentation, made reference to a number of Weiser’s contributions to professional and community affairs. Registered as an architect in 1973, Weiser has lived and worked in West Vancouver for 17 years, serving several terms on the West Vancouver Design Panel since 1979. Weiser is also founder and twice chairman of the Horseshoe Bay BUISUNTSS BRIEFS Business and Professional Associa- tion and has also chaired the North Shore Business Club.
