SFU Centre for Pest Management.

Belton estimates a 30 to 40 per
cent roach infestation for com-
mercial space on the North Shore
and 45 per cent for multi-unit
dwellings.

“One unit will cover 2,400
square feet for a modest infesta-
tion. Research has indicated that
within the first two weeks of in-
stallation, 20 per cent of the
cockroach population is .extermi-
nated; after four weeks, 67 per
cent; after eight weeks, 94 to 98
per cent are controlled,’’ claims
