THE FIRST meeting of a
new Upper Lonsdale
Businessman’s Association
was so successful, they’re go-
ing to do it again.

Steve Trickett, who is at-
tempting to put together the
merchants in the Upper and
Central areas of Lonsdale to
come up with ways to im-
prove bisiness in the area,
says 28 merchants from the
area showed up at Thurs-
day’s exploratory: meeting.

As a result, the group will

He adds that he expects
membership in the associa-
tion will climb quickly once
an executive is in place and a
specific program of im-
provements and ideas for the
Lonsdale area is in place.

Trickett and a handful of

form the association to better
economic conditions in the
area by attracting more
shoppers.
