North Vancouver's Gillian Guess expressed the sen- timent repeatedly in taped phone conversations aired during her trial in B.C. Supreme Court on Thursday. “Aty attachment to him (Peter Gilly was a complete intovication,” Guess said ina Feb. 27, 1996 conversa- tion with her daughter Alana, then 13. Guess was a juror in the 1995 tial of Parject (Peter) Gill and five other men who were accused of murder- ing Ron and fim Dosanjh. All sis were acquitted, but Guess has since been charged with obstruction of jus- tice because she allegedly became intimately invelved with Gill during the trial. The day began with Guess’ lawver Peter Ritchie oudining the locations of devices installed by the RCMP in their efforts to monitor Guess. While RCMP officers testified they installed the lis- tening: devices in late 1995, they were not asked to divulge specifics such as their manner of entry during the cperations.
