for $1,390,188 following the 24-Hour Relay for the Kids. Holding the cheque are
members of Sussex Realty's “Cares for Kids” relay team.

annual summer essay competition

Estate Board of Greater
Vancouver’s 3rd Annual
Summer Essay Compet-
ition launched recently for
students entering Grades 5
to 12 in September.

Cash awards totaling
$6,000 will be shared by

the top three writers in each
grade category — elemen-
tary, junior and senior.

First place winner in
each category will receive
$1,000; second prize $600;
and third prize $409.

In celebration of the
Board’s 75th anniversary,
each category includes a
question with a look to 75

years in the past or in the
future.

Each essay will be pro-
fessionally judged immedi-
ately following the August
26 deadline for submissions.
The top essays in each cate-
gory will be published in the
Real Estate Board of Greater
Vancouver’s Realtor maga-
zine.
