Douglas Chalke, Angie Chalke, Michael Fogel and Dorothy Beck are four of 12 mediators par- ticipating in the Solomon Group. ‘“‘We want the business com- munity and their in-house legal advisors to think first of using a mediator to resolve commercial disputes,’’. Douglas Chalke said. “Most people have only a vague idea of what mediation is and no idea how to obtain such a service. The Solomon Group hopes to change that.” He added that mediation is an alternative to litigation and is cheaper, faster and better.
