By Elizabeth Collings News Reporter Brownlee, 21, made a clean sweep at the championships where she captured the senior ladies’ ti- _ tle, won an artistic award, and also won the Sun Life Award of Merit. “*¥ didn’t really expect to win,”’ says Brownlee. ‘‘The girls who came second and third are really strong seniors as well.”’ The Sentinel grad is skating her second year as a senior; she’s .made one trip to the B.C. sections before, as a novice. Brownlee now advances to the Western Canadian Divisional Championships with competitors from B.C., Alberta and Saskat- chewan. The divisionals run Dec. 41-14 in Prince George. ’ **’m expecting it will be _ tougher because you have the best ‘from everywhere.’” In Nanaimo, Brownlee, who _ skates’ for Hollyburn Country Club, placed first in long program and second in the original pro- gram, which, she concedes, she " “could have skated better.” Her coach, Bob Rubens of the North Shore Winter Club, also “won the Edward S.
