WAKABAYASH! - On October 15, 1990,
Mr. George Harumi Wakabayashi of
Kamloops passed away peacetully alter a
short illness at the age of 56 years.
George was born the second son of To
jiro and Katsu Wakabayashi in Hillcrest,
Ouacan, B.C on May 10, 1934. He was
predeceased by both parents in Japan,
his brother-in-law James Day of Odlando.
Florida and his sister Emiko. George is
survived by and witt be greatly missed
by his brother Henry (Winnifted) of
Salmon Arm; his sister Susanne Day of
Ostando. Florida; and Chyoko (Shigeru)
Imamura of Japan; and his brother Jun
Wakabayashi of Japan. George also
leaves to charish his memory his aunts,
uncles, nieces and nephews in Canada,
U.S.A. and Japan and his many fiends
and co-workers. George spent his first
12 years in Canada before returning to
Japan with his parents. In 1957, he
returned to Canada, working in Hope
and Vancouver and moved to Kamloops
in 1973. George was employed with
alco Industnes. now Tolko Industries.
Reverend John Hoekstra will conduct the
funeral service in the Schoening Funeral
Chapel on Saturday, October 20. 1990
at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
