Night School-——Fall 1961 Program of Courses—Page 4 The: courses are sponsored by the Provincial Department of Education, local Chambers of Commerce and your Adult Education Department to assist business and industry in training and upgrading the qualifications of their personnel so that they may keep abreast of changing and economic conditions. The courses are in- tended for men.and women who need to supplement their technical skill with a broader knowledge of business administration. A wide variety of courses is offered so that an individual program may be selected to meet the needs of those in many different businesses and industries. \ REGISTRATION \ On the first night of the school where the course is being held or pre-register at the North ore Night School Office, 721 Chesterfield Ave., between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. HIVOCATIONAL, TECHNICAL AND UPGRADING COURSES SE MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION , A certificate will be issued on satisfactory completion of each course, and on receiv- ing credit for five 20-hour courses, or an accumulation of 100 course hours, a SMALL BUSENESS ADMINISTRATION DIPLOMA will be awarded. The suc- cessful completion of the course “Small Business Administration” will be prere- quisite for obtaining the Diploma. If 200 course hours are accumulated by the satisiactory completion of sufficient courses — whether they are of 20 hours, 32 hours, 40 hours or 50 hours, or some combination thereof — the candidate qualifies for the BUSINESS MANAGEMENT DIPLOMA, and for this Diploma the course “Management Practices and Policies” is prerequisite.
