tion and Volunteer Centre said the
work of about 33,000 North Shore
volunteers will be recognized next
week.

“Volunteer Week is a special
time of year,’’ she said. ~

“It’s not a recroitment time “of
year — it's a time-of saying
thanks.”’

Ramsay said local volunteers are
involved in’ non-profit . organiza-
tions, churches and sports teams.
