Throngs flock
to meditation

Following the Jan. 21 article
in the North Shore News,
Tilopa Buddhist Centre has
been overwhelmed by hun-
dreds of people wanting to
learn to meditate.

On Jan. 27 more than 100
people turned up to the West
Vancouver library for the sec-
ond class in the series. Many
regrettably had to be turned
aay because the room was
full.

Said group co-ordinator
Geoff Tobiasson: “Clearly
there is aneed that we seem to
be fulfilling. Many people
have expressed their gratitude
that we are offering niedita-
tion classes on the North
