Kiwi Wins nutrition derby

there are more than
1400 seeds in an aver-
age kiwi fruit?

It’s truce. Even more
importantly, the bulk of the
minerals and vitamins found
in this fuzzy little truit are
in the seeds.

A recent study ar Rutgers
University in New Jersey
evaluated the nutritional
potency of fruits to deter-
mine which fruit ounce for
ounce provides the most
putrition,

On an indes of 16, kiwi
fruit was found to be most
nutrient dense. Published in
the October issue of the
Journal of the American
College of Nutrition, kiwi
fruit or yangtag, as it is
called in China, was the
uncontested winner.
