Dear Editor:

It was most gratifying to read
of Angus Ree’s appointment. It
was obviously worth not pressing
the matter of the Upper Levels
Highway traffic lights.

Politicians seem to be very keen
on having monuments raised to
them; | suggest that the traffic
signals on the Upper Levels
Highway be named The Angus
Ree Memorial Lights so we can
remember him every time we are
stuck in traffic.

As we as individuals and as a
country ponder the question of
abortion, I would simply
underline that the greatest justice
issue of this century is the right to
live.

Legislate against this, disregard
the inviolabie sacredness of life
from conception until natural
death and there is no justice
possible —- no sense to any
measures or guarantees purporting
to maintain and safeguard our
human society.
