But while the race series will lead to prizes for the winners, organizers of the Cypress Fun Dual Slalom Races say the accent will be firmly placed on the fun throughout the event. Teams of four will race in four age groups on February 25 and March 4, 11 and 18 as they head for the Mareh 27 finais. Local youths will play in the Vancouver and District Saturday Morning Junior Cricket League, a fun league that puts the experienced players and novices into three age groups. Chris is twelve years old, a grade seven student at St. Anthony's School, enjoys P.E. and socials and plays the drums in the band. Chris plays soccer for the West Van Spuraways in the new metro league and although competition is tough this year, he is hoping they will do well. Good luck, Chris. Skiing is also one of his favourite activities. Chris has certainly put his earnings to good use, he hag bought his own set of drums and is now saving for new ski equipment next year. We enjoyed meeting Chris and his family and showing them around our facilities here at the News.
