seen this Fall can be divided

Back-to-School fashions is
the “PREPPY”. Combining
campus ground dressing and
big city chic ... shetland
crew necks, paisley bow-

ties, oxford shirting and of
course the traditional tar-
tans. The “Preppy” or “Ivy
Leaguers” is a net, crisp,
classic look and no con-
temporary women's war-
drobe is complete without at
least a taste.

Secondly knits are news-
makers ... The focus ... on
Sweater Dressing. In this
knit factor ... the super star
is the “Sweater”.

Thirdly the direction is
towards Sportswear
Separates ... updating classic
pieces with citified ac-
cessories, such as the felt
fedora, gambler vest or a
man’s skinny tie. Cail it
Career Chic... it’s the
“sportswear syndrome”. The
look that caters to the new
breed of business woman.
