Before Judge Jerry Paradis in North Vancouver provincial court on Aug. 13: Mitchell Cameron Engel, 42, of Chilliwack was fined $200 and received six months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to uttering a threat to cause death or bodily harm in North Vancouver City on July 12, 1997. ‘Dylan Arthur O’Conneil, 27, of no fixed address was jailed for 30 days after he pleaded guilty to stealing mer- chandise from the Bay in West Vancouver on June 17, 1997. Isabelle Ann Bouchard, 31, of North Vancouver was fined $150 after pleading guilry to failing to stop at the scene of an accident on May 21 in North Vancouver City. Quinton Timothy Baker, 19, of North Vancouver was ordered to pay $588.50 resti- tution and = received — six months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to committing aca iginal cl ie fi: charge stems from a window-breaking inci- dent at the Avalon Motor Hotel in North Vancouver on May 30. Nelson Ahumada, 28, of North Vancouver received nine months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to assault. The original charge stems from an incident in North Vancouver City on Aug. 1, 19¢7. A Spanish interpreter was used for court.
