Teacher released A SUTHERLAND secondary school teacher was stated to be home on Friday afternoon after she had spent more than a week ina Peruvian jail. Lissett Barsalo, 47, was cleared of all terrorist charges two days after she was arrested on Aug. 31. The Vancouver resident was urrested as she tried to board a plane after a vacation. Barsalo, a Canadian citizen, remained in jail in Lima awaiting completion of government paperwork associat- ed with her release. Truck recovered A ROUTINE vehicle check on Cypress Bowl Road on Thursday resulted in the recovery of a 1988 Suzuki Samurai which had been stolen in Edmonton. There were two Canada-wide warrants issued for the arrest of the driver of the stolen truck when he was stopped by police at £:30 a.m., according to a West Vancouver Police spokesman.
