Stolen: Gas station robber sought THE WEST Vancouver Police are searching for a man who robbed a_Horse- shoe Bay gas station on Monday. According to a police ‘spokesman, the incident occurred at about 3:35 p.m. on June | at an Esso station located at 6300 Bay St. The suspect reportedly was at the gas station looking at a map of Victoria when he grabbed. a bank deposit bag containing more than $3,000 in cash and cheques. The police believe the thief may have boarded the 4 p.m. Horse- shoe Bay to Nanaimo ferry. The suspect is described as be- ing a Caucasian male, 20 to 30 years old, six feet tall, about 200 pounds, with black hair and a three-inch ponytail.
