Housing Society of West Vancouver on
completion of an 85 unit rental apartment
complex in West Vancouwer, The Province is
pleased to suppart this praject with financial
assistance from the B.C, Rental Supply
Program.

The program encourages investment in
new market rental housing by reducing
interest costs on projects that meet provincial
objectives. Preference is given to housing
projects suitable for average income families
and seniors.

This initiative is an excellent example of
how a partnership between government and
the private sector can best serve the public
interest. The Provinces contribution of
80 million dollars will generate thousands of
new rental units, providing much needed
relief in low vacancy areas throughout
British Columbia.
