Program honors feminist VANCOUVER AUTHOR and poet Daphne Marlatt will give a lecture March 8 at Capilano Col- lege to inaugurate a new annual memorial program honoring North Vancouver feminist and communi- ty worker Mary Catherine Pater- son, The Mary Catherine Paterson Memorial Lecture commemorates the North Vancouver feminist, ac- tivist and community worker, who died suddenly in December 1987 after a lifetime of dedicated service to her family, her community, and particularly, North Shore women. Between the Lines: Women’s Writing and Reading is the title of Marlatt’s lecture, which will be Gost Per Session $60.00 which includes 1989 Junior membership Next issue March 12th It’s an exclusive!! held at 7:30 p.m. on International Women's Day (March 8) at Capilano College, All-College Lounge, Room Al17 at 7:30 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public.
