There is a direct insult when Webster's defines the word “Bovine,” which is pertinent to cattle as, ‘‘ox-like; dull; stupid: stolid; obtuse.” Fortunately | didn’t take his let- ter so seriously since he seemed to be only expressing a need to sound-off rather than harboring any real antagonism.
